Kate Curtis
Kate Curtis grew up in South Africa immersed in nature — learning gardening, herbal medicine, and chicken-keeping alongside her parents. After years working in alternative education and publishing a children’s book about our connection to nature, she felt called to live more deeply aligned with what she was teaching.
Kate has since trained in permaculture in India and Darjeeling, completing her Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) and supporting courses across Europe and Asia.
Passionate about regenerative living and hands-on learning, she now guides children in discovering how to work with nature to grow food, restore soil, and cultivate a simpler, more sustainable way of life. She truly believes another way is possible — and loves helping young people experience that for themselves.
