Genius Zone: Writing Wednesday

In our Genius Zone Project Rooms, students dive into projects that spark their passions, talents, and values.

On Wednesdays, the second half of the session is dedicated to developing one of the most powerful tools of expression: writing.

This isn’t about dry essays or grammar drills. Instead, kids build their writing skills by working on creative projects that excite them:
  • Creative Writing → stories, poems, and imaginative worlds
  • Screenwriting & Storytelling → for students already in the Screenwriting class, this is the perfect place to move their scripts forward
  • Personal Expression → journaling, essays, or written reflections connected to their Genius Zone projects

Whether your child is a budding novelist, a future screenwriter, or just discovering the joy of storytelling, we meet them where they are and help them grow.

With mentor support and peer feedback, kids gain confidence, polish their craft, and see writing as a fun, empowering way to bring ideas to life.
