Ancient Civilizations for Kids

Rethinking Human History Through Logic, Evidence & Critical Thinking

Lesson series

Ancient Civilizations

In this 8-week live course, students will explore ancient megalithic ruins across the globe — from Egypt and Peru to Lebanon, Mexico, and beyond.

Using logic, evidence, and hands-on labs, students will examine both mainstream and alternative theories about who built these sites, when they were constructed, and how they were achieved.

In this course we won't focus on telling students what to think — we will create an environment where they learn how to think critically.

What if History is Bigger Than We Were Told?

Most textbooks tell a simple story: For hundreds of thousands of years, humans lived as hunter-gatherers…

Then around 6,000 years ago, civilization began… There came agriculture… empires… industry… technology… and and now here we are with powerful engines, cell phones, the Internet and AI, .

But how does that story hold up when we examine the evidence? When we look at:
- The precision of the Great Pyramid
- Megalithic structures in Peru and Lebanon
- LiDAR discoveries of vast lost cities
- Ancient flood myths across cultures
- Geological evidence of catastrophic events

We begin to ask powerful questions.

This course is about exploring those questions — with curiosity and critical thinking.

Andrew Freeman

Andrew is the founder of Coherence Education and a passionate independent researcher of ancient civilizations. For over a decade, he has devoted thousands of hours to studying the world’s most enigmatic megalithic sites, examining both mainstream archaeological explanations and alternative research perspectives.

Andrew has visited and studied ancient sites across Egypt, Peru, Bolivia, England, Wales, Greece, Mexico, and Portugal, exploring the engineering, stonework, and geological evidence firsthand. His research has included in-depth conversations with leading researchers such as Ben van Kerkwyk (UnchartedX), Brien Foerster, Yousef Awyan, and Nassim Haramein.

Andrew is deeply interested in the evidence surrounding lost ancient technologies and advanced engineering methods. In this course, he invites students not to adopt conclusions, but to analyze evidence, think critically, and form their own well-reasoned perspectives about humanity’s ancient past.

The Mystery of the Great Pyramid

We'll explore some of the many mysteries, including how did they perfectly place more than 2.3 million stones, align it perfectly North, and  encode undiscovered mathematics, including Pi, Phi, and the speed of light.

Evidence for an Ancient Global Civilization

Pyramids aren't just in Egypt - they are located on every continent. Many of the same construction techniques were repeated worldwide as well. Is there evidence that there was global travel - even air travel back in ancient times?

A Tale of Two Industries

In nearly every ancient civilization, there is evidence that new construction is built over old construction. In almost every case, the older construction appears more advanced, using larger, harder stones with much greater precision. Why would this be? Shouldn't newer construction be more advanced?

Evidence of Earth Changes

In nearly every culture there is the story of a great flood. In the bible it was the story of Noah and the Ark. Is there actual evidence of a great flood? If so, what could have caused it, and was it the first of its kind on the Earth? We’ll explore various theories that try to explain the significant changes we see on our planet over time.

Was there lost ancient high technology?

When we look at the most dramatic wonders of the ancient world, the mainstream explanation is it was created over a long period of time, using a great many people using muscle power. Is there evidence that there was higher technology used than hammers and chisels to create the ancient wonders?

The Evidence for Atlantis

The Greeks spoke about the legend of Atlantis, an ancient city that sunk below the waters in a global flood. Is it just a story, or did Atlantis really exist? We’ll look at different theories for and against the existence and location of Atlantis.

Did they get help?

There have been a number of best-selling books (E.g. In Search of Ancient Astronauts) and TV Shows “Ancient Aliens’ that have created a great deal of attention to the theories that there were extraterrestrial beings who visited the Earth in the distant past and helped teach people and create the remarkable things we see in ancient ruins. We’ll explore some of the logic and evidence behind this.

The Conclusions

In our final class, our students will present their theories based on logic and evidence for the following questions:
- Did the Dynastic Egyptians build the pyramids, or did they find them?
- Did the ancients have access to power tools?
- Did extraterrestrials visit the Earth, and if so, did they help with building the megalithic structures?
- Did Atlantis exist?
- And much more...
